Our view of the service
Greenways is a care home providing personal care for up to 4 people with a learning disability and/or autistic people. There were 4 people living at the service during this inspection. We carried out this inspection to check the provider had rectified shortfalls we identified at our previous inspection in December 2024. This inspection was caried out between 16 April and 22 April 2025. We inspected 4 quality statements from the safe and well-led key questions. The scores for these areas have been combined with scores based on the key question ratings from the last inspection. The service was no longer in breach of regulations in relation to good governance and safe care and treatment. The service had made the necessary improvements, and the overall rating has now changed to good. We inspected the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.
People's experience of this service
We observed kind, patient and caring interactions. Staff knew people well and understood people’s individual needs and preferences. Relatives were complimentary about the service. One relative told us, “They are on the ball, they have stepped up their game.” Another relative said, “Staff are doing a fantastic job overall. They keep me updated, can't fault the staff. Staff are happier now and that rubs off on care.”
