Our view of the service
We carried out this unannounced focused on-site assessment on 14 February 2025.
We found the practice had not met all regulations.
The practice did not have effective systems to manage risks, and infection control procedures did not follow published guidance.
The provider did not have a sufficient number of suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff.
Medicines were not managed in line with current guidance.
Care and treatment provided to patients were not accurately recorded in the patient care records.
Recruitment procedures did not reflect current legislation and there was ineffective leadership and lack of a culture of continuous improvement.
Due to the unannounced nature of the on-site visit, we were unable to gather sufficient evidence to report on the key questions of Caring and Responsive.
The service provides cosmetic treatments, some of which are not in scope of CQC regulation and are not covered in our assessment.
The practice is in the London Borough of Westminster and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
The practice had 1 treatment room. During the assessment we spoke with the principal dentist.
