We found this practice was providing caring services in accordance with the relevant regulations and had taken into consideration appropriate guidance.

Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. Other comments included “Excellent service throughout my recent period of treatment from Bidford Dental Practice Thank you,” “fantastic” and “professional and caring.”

Patients said staff were professional, courteous and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were provided with a patient survey. The practice used working feedback to obtain patient views. Following treatment, patients are sent an email requesting feedback. The results were collated each month and scores displayed in the waiting area. Responses for December 2024 and March 2025 showed that 100 per cent of respondents gave a 5-star rating, whilst in January and February they received a 99 per cent 5-star rating.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
