The provider promoted people’s independence, so people knew their rights and had choice and control over their own care, treatment and wellbeing. The manager said, “We promote people’s dignity and respect them. We ask about their choices of food, drink, clothes and whether they wish to remain in their room or do activities. We would always ask people. We encourage every person to have a choice.” One relative complimented the home stating in feedback, ‘I am really pleased with how [Name] is settling in, and I have to say your care home is brilliant. The staff are fantastic. You have a wonderful team, and I’ve found it’s a great atmosphere and environment for the residents. It’s very welcoming for family members visiting too.’
